Resumen:
A survey of the reality of Cajazeiras public schools, today provided a study on the topic: “High teacher turnover in the early years of public school: dilemmas and opportunities in school management”, with the aim of examining how school management operates across the high teacher turnover in the first years of state and local public schools, the urban area of Cajazeiras-PB, to disclosing the possible dilemmas faced by managers and investigate what are the prospects and possibilities that lay hold managers to identify and resolve the problem of high turnover. The research provided the construction of three chapters, aligned between topics and subtopics. Thus, it is an outline of the presentation of the subjects and the research scenario, the second deals with the high teacher turnover and its implications for teaching in the first chapter and, finally, the third one refers to school management and its possibilities in the High teacher turnover, as well as search results. For this study, several texts, books, dissertations, and articles as a benchmark for theoretical background, found within the studies were used: BRAZIL. Law of Guidelines and Bases of National Education (1996); DANTAS, Heloysa (1992), LA TAILLE, Yves (1992); OLIVEIRA, Marta Kohl de (1992); LUCK, Louisa (2006); PARO, Vitor Henrique (2008); Tassoni, Cristina Martins and Elvira MILK Sérgio Antônio da Silva (2013). To reach the completion of the work, it was necessary the use of exploratory research that subsidies for research were successful. Thus, if elencaram - some of the causes and/or paradigms that cause the high teacher turnover in public schools of that city. The information gained from the survey indicate that, pretty, so some gaps in specific training in management and in the performance of the managers, it was noticed that there is some negligence on the part of agencies to support schools with regard to continuing education for managers, making with the possible solutions that can be taken by the school management did not materialize.
