Résumé:
This monograph entitled: Training and knowledge: prospects and dilemmas of the teaching
profession in early childhood education and early years of elementary education: aims to
investigate and analyze the process of training and knowledge, perspectives and dilemmas of
the teaching profession in kindergarten and Years Initials of primary school, in order to
understand the implications of training and knowledge in the educational practice every day
before the contemporary dilemmas? This theme was chosen in order to increase knowledge on
the topic and better understand the importance of teaching knowledge and the dilemmas of the
teaching profession. The survey was conducted in a municipal school in Cachoeira dos Indios
- PB, the countryside. The study was developed through a literature search based on the
theoretical contributions of the following authors: Novoa (2002), Pepper (2007), Ghedin
(2002), Tardif (2008), Franco (2008), among other scholars and researchers training teaching
and knowledge of knowledge, experience and teaching. A field survey was carried out with
(four) 04 teachers of Early Childhood Education and Early Years of elementary school, and
the data collection was used as a semi-structured interview procedures as applied to (ten) 10
questions attached to the work. After the investigation found the following results: teachers
recognize the contribution of initial training, and the need for continuous training and
reflective, as the possibility of building new knowledge to reframe the knowledge teachers
need to educational practice.
