Resumen:
This study deals with the theme Quality of Life at Work, more specifically focused on the scope of Outsourcing. The main objective of this research was to conduct a survey in order to analyze the Quality of Life at Work of outsourced employees of a Public Higher Education Institution in the city of Campina Grande-PB. For this, we used the biopsychosocial and organizational instrument (BPSO-96) developed by Limongi-França to verify the importance and the satisfaction of outsourced employees about the Biopsychosocial and Organizational of QLW factors, identify their health and well-being and ultimately expose the concept of Quality of Life at Work in accordance with the perception of these individuals. The survey showed a quantitative approach, descriptive and the procedure adopted was the application of a questionnaire, adapted from the study of Oliveira, R. (2008). For the tabulation of the data, it was used the Microsoft Excel 2010 program whereby the calculations and graphs were generated. The statistical resource used was the arithmetic average. The results proved that the Quality of Life at Work of outsourced employees is precarious on the institution where the research was conducted. The data generated in the analysis reveal a scenario that gives evidence of negligence on the part of subcontractors, and in the basic rights of their employees. The health and welfare of the employees were characterized as regular and the meaning constructed by them for Quality of Life at Work excelled by elements such as Trust, Health and Responsibility. In summary, the research has achieved important answers revealed that the quality of the conditions, or lack of them, of the work outsourced employee in a public higher education institution of Campina Grande. The conclusion is that the figure of the outsourced worker is underestimate and undervalue by the company that hires him/her. The provision of decent working conditions is minimal and the perceived needs are many and various types (organizational, biological, psychological and social). The future of these workers is uncertain and therefore must rely on more effective mechanisms, which protect them from the explorations and pressures in the workplace. Researches like these help generating new knowledge. Above all, contribute to represent a specific time of society. For it is through the understanding of what surrounds that transformations arise and advances happen.
