To promote the necessary conditions to social equality is one of the State aims through projects and actions that aim at this outcome. Actions aiming at youngsters’ lives are implemented, by taking them out of the streets, unemployment, poverty and uncertain future. Having this in mind, the differential in the social scenario is to create the education needed to the youngsters’ development. The project called “ProjovemUrbano” and has as aim to bring youngsters between 18 to 29 years-old to the academic environment, improving their life perspectives and reducing the difference among social classes. To understand the situation allows better analysis towards the project and an aim to take the youngsters out of their present situation, promoting social mobility, through education and formal employment. This research’s goal is to analyze the reality in which this program finds itself, through their coordinators at towns, their monitors and recipients. The analysis is done through evaluation of how the project implementation and renewal is done, its current situation, its difficulties and its plans. The information is gathered in the place the facts occur. The results found through the information allow us to see that the middle of the process cannot, for now, offer the expected solutions to each recipient and the perception that there is no follow through program to which the youngsters can be supported in their studies and labor market. However, it was also seen that the program helps youngsters to go back to school and academic life, according to 50% of the youngsters who stayed in school after beginning the project. Therefore, social impact in their lives is expected, being able to improve their basic life conditions, promoting social equality.
