Abstract:
The research titrated on geography in teaching of field schools: The case of the Municipal School of Child Education and Fundamental Education Rodolfo Santa Cruz. Has the objective indentified the pedagogical practices developed in the teaching of geography at the Municipal School of Child Education and Fundamental Education Rodolfo Santa Cruz – Sumé –PB. In this research the assumptions of qualitative research, through the case study were used. In the first moment the research, a bibliographical research of books and articles was performed in the CDSA library – UFCG but also on websites of the following themes: geography teaching, geography teaching in the initial years and field education. The second moment the field research was performed at the Municipal School of Child Education and Fundamental Education Rodolfo Santa Cruz –Sumé –PB, through the following research techniques: entrevisty observation and the application of questionnaires. At elapse the research identified that the teaching of geography went through some changes significant in recent years. But in the field school (researched) there is not one monitoring of these changes in relation to the teaching of the discipline. There are many factors that hinder the fundamental teaching a teacher to use up the dynamics that provides the geographic space. To make a work geared specifically to the area of geography is necessary that the teacher be dynamic, have a good plan to teach the content of geography, has contact the environmental resources, among others and use of existing resources in school space and geographic.
