Résumé:
Through the years the innovation has proved to be an important source of competitive
advantage for companies. It is acknowledged that one of the factors capable of stimulating
innovative practices within an organization it’s its culture. Thus, the research aims to verify
the existence of the determinants of innovation culture and its influence on performance in
product innovation company Cadersil, from the model proposed by Gomes (2013). The search
can be classified as exploratory and descriptive regarding your goals, quantitative and
qualitative as to the nature and was conducted in the form of a case study. To collect the
necessary information, a questionnaire was applied to 10 (ten) managers of the company,
which contained questions that calculated in five dimensions of culture of innovation
(strategy, structure, support mechanisms, behaviors that stimulate innovation and
communication) and the two dimensions of performance in product innovation (efficiency and
effectiveness). It was evident that the determinant communication is what is most present in
Cadersil, and its culture of innovation, albeit timid, positively influences their performance in
product innovation.
