Abstract:
Over the years, the quality of life has become being better studied in reason of the countless organizational transformations which has detected a large needing of recognizing and appreciation by the people in work. So, this paper shows a study about quality of life at work of the employees of CACE (Exceptional Children's Assistance Center) and ICAE(Institute of Exceptional Assistance of Campina) and aimed to identify the level of life quality at work of CACE and ICAE employees. For that, the research is characterized as descriptive, with an application of questionnaires based on the Freitas and Souza model (2008). The general result shows a level of 3.95, classified as good, related to the existence of quality of life at work. Specifically, was possible to identify that the employees has a good level of quality of life at work in scope of social integration and a level considered very good in scope of most of dimensions assessed, which are: utilization of human capacity; Security and Health in conditions of work; Constitutionalism; work and breadth of life and social relevance of work. In relation of dimensions Fair and Adequate Compensation and Career Opportunity and Professional Warranty, those showed a level of quality of life considered neutral. However, greater attention is needed in some of the studied dimensions in order that the work can be better done and more pleasurable for those who do it.
