Abstract:
Given the competitiveness that increases each day, the Administration of Production becomes
paramount factor for the success of an organization, so that, investing in physical
infrastructure, labour-intensive and knowledge, it added quality to the product or service
offered and ensuring recognition in the market. Given the foregoing, the work aimed to
propose an increase in productive capacity, through purchase of new equipment, through an
analysis of cost and investment. For preparation of this paper used is a methodological model
of case study suggested by Tachizawa (2004) and the method of classification adopted by
Vergara (2003). It is expected that the proposal will be binding for the organization,
considering that with the implementation of the project, the company could increase its
volume of production, probably with a lower cost, increasing their level of competitiveness in
the market.
