Resumen:
The economic reality of our country, identifying themselves even by the low rate of economic
power of the majority of the population, is to require the creation of businesses that can meet the
needs of people. In general, there are many challenges we must face the entrepreneur to open
their business and remain competitive. Therefore, the entrepreneur must be highly skilled and
intuitive. Given this, this work aims to general structure a venture in the food industry in the city
of Paulo Afonso-BA, more precisely one of manufactures cakes "CASA DO BOLO." As for the
methodology used, a search was carried out of character exploratory and descriptive with the
residents of the City of Paulo Afonso-BA and shops in the City of Campina Grande-PB. The
survey was conducted of information between the months of January to March 2008. The new
business wants to collaborate to develop not only the economic side, but also embed itself in the
field of social entrepreneurship, towards the transition to a sustainable society, which aims
mainly to the quality of life of the community.
