Resumen:
The diversity is related differences in the characteristics of persons, whether physical or personality and preferences, and is a factor that is present in all areas. Noting this fact with the constant changes that occur in the general context of the world, it appears that the workforce has also changed in recent years, mainly on the issue of gender diversity. Since it became part of the labor market in the twentieth century, women seek greater participation in it, because there is still a balance me the opposite sex, as they are a minority. Given the changes in the labor market, in the context of diversity, organizations need to adapt their policies in order to address this distinguished audience. Thus, the area of People Management is a combination of skills and methods, policies, techniques and practices established, which aims to manage the internal behaviors and enhance human capital in organizations, therefore, the Quality of Working Life in organizations is a policy adopted by that area. In this sense, the present study aims at analyzing the perception of Quality of Work Life among men and women in the footwear sector of Campina Grande - PB, being a descriptive study and characterized as field research of quantitative character. The results showed that there really is a need for companies to meet the most diverse forms the internal female audience, since it showed still suffer discrimination and lack of policies that can meet their needs. This genre does not have opportunities to use their ability and chances to be promoted in companies growing, as evidenced by observing the data of perception of satisfaction and importance, which in many instances showed marked differences compared to the opposite gender.
