Résumé:
The accelerated environmental changes and develop the skills of individuals, the fundamental
factors for the development of any organization. In this context, the aim of this study is to
verify the expectations of Alpha company's employees on the implementation of competencybased
performance review. For this, he has been trying to make a bridge with scientific
studies on the subject of Performance Assessment authors as Marras (2000), Fleury (2001),
Leme (2005), Gramina (2007), among others. As theoretical, it was necessary to address the
issues related to people management, competency management, Performance Assessment and
performance evaluation skills. To carry out this study was carried out field research, in
addition to non-participant observation techniques and interview between those involved in
the performance evaluation. According to the results found in the survey see the importance
and the need for the establishment of the proposed method, since she does not practice
formally evaluating employee performance. The performance assessment is considered as a
way of motivating employees for improved performance and personal satisfaction, providing
a career perspective and formal recognition of the results presented.
