Abstract:
The presente work it has as study object, the games contributions in the process of teaching- learning of Math Education. Aiming to analyse the games conceptions that the teacher of 5th grade of a public school in the municipal network has to the teaching-learning of Math Education. Bringing as main problem of the search what/ which are the conseption/s that the teacher/s has/have of games and if they use this pedagogic tool in the Math classes in the 5th grade of Elementary School of a public school in the municipal network of Santa Helena-PB? Therefore, the search was predominantly qualitative, by means of a camp search, having the observation and the semi structured interview as instrumento of data colection, that were applied to two teachers of 5th grade of Elementary School of the researched school. Posteriorly, the data were encamined from a contente analysis, being obserbable the games contributions in the processo of teaching-learning of Math Education. The search results still reveal restricted moments with regard to the use of games of methodological resource regarding the pedagogical practice of the participating teachers.
