Résumé:
The present qualitative research aims to identify and analyze the conceptions of Learning Assessment of the students enrolled in the first and seventh terms of the Education Course at UFCG, Campus of Cajazeiras – PB, also intending to identify their beliefs, values and ideologies, to check if their thinking on the theme had similarities or not. I present how the work was developed and the main authors who discuss the theme in focus. Second, I expose some personal aspects which justify my interest to develop the research on the assessment of learning based on authors such as Luckesi (2000), Libâneo (1994) and Perini. Third, I quote the thought of Jussara Hoffmann (2001, 2005) and other authors on Learning Assessment. In this chapter I also highlight the devices by the Federal Government to intervene directly in the educational process in the Basic and Higher Education. Forth, I present the analyses and what the subjects of the research think of Learning Assessment. This study revealed that the students enrolled in the first term of the Education Course at UFCG, Campus of Cajazeiras – PB, consider the Learning Assessment as being a pedagogical action directed to the measurement of knowledge, having the objective test as the main instrument to get it. On the other hand, for the students of the seventh term, based on the authors studied during the course, the Learning Assessment is a process mediated by the teaching action.
