Resumen:
The current study was conducted at the Personnel Management of the 2nd Military Police
Battalion of Paraiba and tried to verify the level of Working Life Quality of their working
members. We performed a descriptive and exploratory aiming to analyze the dimensions that
compromise the working life quality of the military section of Personnel Management. Data
were collected from a study of a case, applying an adapted form of the Sousa Freitas Model
(2008) to all who act in the sector. The analysis of dimensions: Use of Human Ability, Social
Relevance at Work: Integrating Social Work and Career Centers and Professional Warranty,
revealed a higher level of Working Life Quality. On another hand, the dimensions: Work and
Life Space, Health and Safety in Employment Conditions; adequate and fair compensation;
Constitutionalism, showed a lower level of Working Life Quality. The results in general
showed that the level of Life Quality in the Military Section of Personnel Management of the
2nd Military Police Battalion is low and that adaptation is necessary to change this situation.
