Abstract:
The changes in the business’ world have led companies in the search for new ways to relate to
their partners, so there came the need to change their view of the many factors which
influence their performance against the market. Given the importance of people in an
organizational context, while talents who can add value and provide a strong competitive
advantage, companies have alternatively attract talent to compose their organizational
structure or form these talents in their own organizational structure. The present study has like
general goal analyze the functioning of the internship program to develop talent in the
company Yamaha Motor Amazonia Ltda., Unit Guarulhos – SP. Through a case study of
descriptive and applied, the data were obtained through direct observation and participant
interviews with managers and employees involved in implementing the program. The data
were treated qualitatively and allowed, among other results, to analyze the factors that
motivated the company to implement the program, as also identified a positive perception of
respondents about its operation, and also identified some potential, failures and impacts
related to the program.
