Abstract:
Nowadays, there is an era of informatization and the use of digital technologies, where information and knowledge spread rapidly, such as mobile technologies and the use of the internet increasingly accessible, including in the educational context bringing their contributions and challenges to the teacher and the student in front of the contents to be taught and of the pedagogical practice lived in the classroom and by the direct influence on the life of the people, including in the school field. The present work talks about the theme "Digital technologies as pedagogical resources”, having as general objective to investigate the use of digital technologies in the teaching of the initial years of Elementary School in a public school in the city of Sousa / PB. It is a research of an applied nature, descriptive about the objectives, with technical procedures of bibliographic research and case study and qualitative approach, having as a data collection instrument a questionnaire containing objective and subjective questions applied to 04 (four) elementary school teachers from the initial years of a public school in the municipality of Sousa / PB. In the construction of theoretical reasoning of digital technologies in the perspective of Levy (1993), Andrade (2001), Jordan (2009), Smith (2013), among others, as well as articles and monographs that are interested in expanding the use of digital technologies in schools. This is a study about the use of digital technologies used as pedagogical tools by teachers and the difficulties and possible contributions regarding the training process of the teachers who use them. Subsequently, it is discussed the influence of digital technologies on learning of the students in the initial years of elementary education. The consolidation of this research has brought significant and constructive contributions, considering that it is possible to understand the need to offer training for teachers, as well as the development of pedagogical projects that contemplate this theme.
