Abstract:
This monograph presents the exploratory study register on the influences of new technologies on the formation of the child, taking into consideration the family and school context, because they are environments in which these influences are more noticeable. Thus, the following objectives were defined: to analyze the influence of the new technologies on the formation of the child; investigate the consequences of access to new technologies on student behavior; to examine the effects generated by the use of electronic media in child development; and check the type of media content seen by the children, allowed by the parents. The field study was carried out with the collaboration of 3 (three) teachers from the public school system of the city of Vieirópolis-PB, and 3 (three) mothers, who had children enrolled in public education, where it was sought through their talk, how new technologies have influenced the development of children, and interfering with their learning process. The research at the beginning was developed through bibliographical studies on the theme from the reading of books, monographs and articles, being complemented by an empirical research of the descriptive type, in a qualitative approach, in order to seek to respond to the objectives proposed in this work. The data collection was done through a semistructured interview, being transcribed integrally the lines of the investigated subjects, to later enable the process of data analysis, whose results revealed that the new technologies introduced in the daily routine of children from the family environment, influence in several aspects of their formation, sometimes positively, when they contribute to socialization and learning, others cause damage to their training, because it is used without time limits, or without accompaniment of the parents or guardians, to ascertain the contents of the content, and select what is appropriate, taking into account the age group Language, and their information needs.
