The family company occupies an important space in the current market. It appears that the professional is essential for all businesses, including the type of family, promoting organizational growth. The present study sought to assess the stage of professionalism in the organization of family farm implements Centro Comercial do Agricultor Ltda through the model management tool MAPE - Method Evaluative Level of professionalism of the company. This study was conducted through a quantitative approach through a case study. To collect data, we used a closed questionnaire adapted from Braga et al. (2010) the following variables related to the company: corporate culture and values, planning and development, people management, decision making and delegation of power, control and management, results, customer satisfaction, sales and marketing, communication and innovation. The results show that low score identified in most areas assessed to the company falls into one of the smaller stages of professionalization, noting that the lowest averages in the perception of employees about the professionalization were directed areas of planning and development, sales and marketing and innovation, contributing to unsatisfactory professional internship that is. The study suggests that it had knowledge of the professional aspects contribute to the correction of faults, help the weak areas and strengthen existing resources. Finally, some actions have been proposed in order to provide improved so that it can achieve the highest level of professionalism.
