Abstract:
This work show a survey in Geography class, focusing on the production design in the teaching - learning process. The same aims to determine the contribution of the production of drawings in the process of teaching and learning in Geography lessons in schools of the field, but also identify and discuss the elements that make up the design of rural students through drawing. In this research we used the assumption of qualitative research through participant observation. Thus, for this research was conducted in the first phase, a literature review on the teaching of geography and its relation to the production of drawings. In the second phase was conducted through field research that took place at the Agricultural School classroom 7th grade A - morning shift. As a result, there - that the design students do for rural areas is mainly characterized as a work space, harvest and housing. Because it was possible to identify the drawings to new technologies in rural areas, new ways to store water, how the farmer develops its economic activities through agricultural activity and livestock, as well as existing forms of recreation in the countryside. Thus, we conclude that the design work as a methodological process in Geography lessons in schools field work is the awareness of the students, through their imagination. Letting them prove their knowledge in form of pictures asking the teacher to rebuild a new geographic knowledge in schools from the field to examine the productions of drawings made by students.
