Resumo:
This work aims to reflect on the organization of educational work in multigrade classes,
especially in rural schools in the municipality of Paraiba Sume, and understand what the
dimensions present in these practices and highlight the difficulties of a practical educational
experience on the lack of contextual specifies a pedagogical proposal for multigrade classes as
a public policy field. Because although it is adopted in the Active School Education Network,
this project contributes to innovation in classroom methodology, however, does not allow a
process of contextualization of knowledge from the perspective of coexistence. We seek to
study, contribute to increasing the possibilities for reinterpretation of the pedagogical work
with these classes to contextualization of education for coexistence in semi-arid region. Were
used as methods of research the following research tools: observation, questionnaires,
interviews, document analysis and field journal. The categories we directed our gaze on the
object of research were: the organization of educational work and education context. The
results point towards building a working relationship that allows educational heterogeneity of
the student group, as a positive trigger and relationships / interactions and autonomous
cooperatives, positioning itself in front of the restless and curious knowledge, in order to
appropriate, question, to rebuild and produce other knowledge in a dynamic and creative
considering creativity and motivation that each teacher has to organize the educational work
in the classroom.
