Resumo:
This paper undertakes a study of love practices in Cajazeiras-PB and analyzes from the
history of the sensitive - during the 1920s and 1930s - how men and women conducted
their relationships. Those are choices, reasons and feelings that linked meanings and
actions that leads us to understand how the subjects translate the world into reasons and
feelings. Thus, analyzing the forms of experiences, the plots, subversions, desires and
anxieties present in the life narratives of these subjects are the intent of this discussion.
This work has as a source of analysis three criminal cases that are present in the archive
of Forum Dr. Ferreira Junior, in the city of Cajazeiras-PB. We can see in these stories
the interests, desires, practices and agencies that were part of the ways was formed
romantic relationships. So, discuss the plot of life of these subjects and point
expectations that constitute these affections will be our goal.
