Resumo:
The aim of this study was to conceptualize the current landscape of the Brazilian public administration, focusing on administrative transparency as an important tool for social control of public acts. As finding, observed coeval so that public administration should be based on current practices and innovative, dedicated to creativity and management for results. Moreover, transparency is characterized as one of the most democratic to monitor spending and public administrative acts, and the Fiscal Responsibility Law (FRL), the main regulatory instrument of public accounts of the country. Within this context, the Transparency Portal is configured as an instrument of information and social control that enables citizens to monitor revenue collection and use of public resources. Thus, he concludes that the LRF represents a milestone in Brazilian public administration as to set standards for responsible management, enables combating administrative misconduct, therefore, it is essential that governments are transparent and accountable for their actions. The methodology work has the conformation of a literature search and qualitative, with the source query current legislation, scientific articles, as well as electronic databases, such as the Transparency Portal.
