Resumen:
The main objective of this study is to analyze the processes of the Company in light of EmbFlex tool Cleaner Production. Thus, we plotted the following specific objectives: to describe the production process EmbFlex; identify and quantify the main waste generated in the production process; identify ways of waste disposal adopted by the company, and the residues identified in the application of levels of production more clean. The theoretical and empirical brings a discussion on Problem Environmental, Environmental Management Business, Cleaner Production and Plastic Packaging Industry. Regarding the methodology used, there was a predominantly exploratory research. As main theoretical framework was used Barbieri (2006) and levels of implementation of Cleaner Production tool, which served as the analytical basis for the analysis of waste the company searched. Moreover, it was observed that the Company is adopting practices EmbFlex Tool Cleaner Production corresponding to the level of Internal Recycling, which considers that waste can’t be avoided, should preferably be reintegrated into the production process of company. However, there were mostly character Corrective actions and treatment done outside the company, featuring the company is still very little compared to what the tool suggests. According to the classification of Barbieri (2006), the company presents an approach to control pollution, since their actions are largely reactive and remedial, confined areas that generate pollution, complying with legislation, responding to pressure from the community and doing use of remediation technologies and Control at the end of the process (end-of-pipe). Thus, the analyzes made it possible to identify contributions economic, social and environmental impacts resulting from the possible implementation of Cleaner Production tool manufacturing company in flexible plastic packaging for food, confirming the theoretical assumptions relating to Corporate Environmental Management.
