Resumo:
Commercial or philanthropic organizations spent over the years by profound transformations affecting not only how to manage, but also how to behave within organizations to stay in the labor market. This residence reflects the mode of behavior of individuals who are active in the institutions, then creating a form of commitment to the organization. So we have three modes of engagement, namely, affective, instrumental and normative. Given the above, this study proposes to analyze the existing levels of organizational commitment in the House Health and Maternity St. Francis of Assisi, according to the entire academic framework used, through a methodology focused on field research and descriptive. Through the results, in which the finding of a high rate of affective commitment among employees of the institution, where it is hampering decision making within the company, because the employees feel as at ease within the organization as to do not meet certain standards and determinations, where the example can be cited as a violation of rules themselves arrival and departure, where employees sometimes arrive minutes late and other times leave before the end of the working day, it is proposed a change in the current management model taking into account the high rate in order to prevent possible conflicts may arise through a process of future change at the top management of the institution.
