Abstract:
To resist in the current business environment and management companies choose to seek development of innovative practices. These practices enable companies to remain on the market, either through a change in the process, a new market, a new product or even new combinations that can arise from other existing ones. Companies that fail to innovate, they can't stay competitive, because the demand for something different between them is rife. Therefore, companies need to define the variables that integrate the various parts of the Organization and that result in the process of innovation of an enterprise, namely, the innovative capacity. With the innovative capacity, companies need to find a way to manage this set of features that promote innovation. From these considerations, this work aims to verify the level of innovative capacity in the incubated companies of the technological park of Paraíba, since they need to have innovations to be incubated, using the model proposed by Valladares (2012). In methodological terms the research is characterized as being quantitative, descriptive in nature and conducted in the form of a case study. The instrument used for the collection of information was the questionnaire and the data provided by this instrument were treated by means of basic criteria of descriptive statistics. The survey results show that the incubated companies of the technological park of Paraiba have achieved a level of innovative capacity in favour of its developments when investigated in model perspective Valladares (2012) because the overall average obtained from the ten constructs has been satisfactory.
