Resumo:
The didactic video has enabled wide dimensions in the construction of knowledge within the educational process in the school reality. Its language allows for an easier understanding, where the teaching of chemistry needs to be passed on in a more specific way in some contents that need to be based on the student's imagination, particularity of the same to promote an assimilation. Thus, this research has as general objective to investigate the use of didactic videos used in the teaching of Chemistry as a differentiated methodology of traditional teaching. And as specific objectives analyze the production of didactic video as alternative methodology in the educational process and its advantages and disadvantages. For that, a case study was carried out, in which the said strategy was adopted by (4) high school teachers from public schools: E.E.E. M Prof. Manoel Mangueira Lima and E.E.E. M Cristiano Cartaxo and with (16) students and the professor of the discipline of Analytical Chemistry of the course of graduation in chemistry at the CFP / UFCG Campus Cajazeiras-PB, being made analyzes from the application of questionnaires on didactic experience related to the use of videos as a didactic resource. The results showed that this differentiated activity is of great importance to facilitate the knowledge of the students and promotes a significant learning for the teaching of Chemistry.
