Resumo:
The brasilian federal law # 8213/1991 established the reservation of posts for handicapped
people on the staff of companies that have from 100 employees. Despite this legislation, there
is a notorious lack of same due to ensuring employability and adequate working conditions
for people with disabilities. The level of satisfaction of those people was the largest object of
this research study, which sought to describe the perceptions of the ASA Industria e Comercio
Ltda., According to several factors, Working Quality of Life, making a relationship between
the perspectives of handicapped people and other employees of that company. In that involves
the procedures, was conducted a descriptive, by way of a case study, the questionnaire being
used as a tool for data collection, where the model of the same was the valuation Satisfaction
Inventory with Working Quality of Life factors - SIWQL, adapted by Carvalho-Freitas (2007)
from the model proposed by Walton (1973). The survey showed that the respondents have an
expectation satisfying as most of the dimensions addressed, however, some features such as
factors relating to pay and professional growth, there have been some negative trends. The
study also found that handicapped people surveyed have a greater sensitivity than the other
employees about the factors relevant to working conditions and the balance between work
and the total space of life.
