The present proposal of study arises from the need to experience the research in the initial formation of the Pedagogue, since in the reality of the author the absence of conceptual and methodological elements from the first periods entailed in overload and academic losses in the moment of constructing the research project , As a mandatory element to elaborate the Work of conclusion of course. Hence the starting question: how do the students of the Pedagogy Course perceive the teaching and learning of the research? The assumption is that research as a support for the formation of the pedagogue allows to establish the differences between common and scientific sense favorable to the development of research projects, with more theoretical and methodological rigor. The objective is to discuss the process of teaching learning of the research in the initial formation of the pedagogue, in the course of Pedagogy of the Training Center of Teachers of the Federal University of Campina Grande - CFP / UFCG and its tendency, to map the actual research conditions. The approach will be qualitative with a field study delineated from the dimensions proposed by Novikoff. Data collection will be done with the use of a semi-structured questionnaire with the teachers in training (students) of the pedagogy course of all classes and focus group, only those who are studying research I, II and TCC. Content analysis will be used along with a priori "knowledge" categories in its different aspects (pedagogical, theoretical, normative, methodological, professional, relational partner and other). It is hoped to contribute to the dissemination of the value of research to the education of the pedagogue.
