The changes experienced by contemporary society and the new needs of the labor market for the use of technology have brought to the classroom demands for which often the teacher is not careful or too prepared. The strong technological growth coupled with the large number of sales of mobile phones and smartphones for an ever younger who comes to school bringing with it a new challenge to the teacher to connect to these students on social networks. Mobile devices have been used in several areas. The kindle, laptops, tablets, mobile phones, smartphones, among others, taken as mobile devices are commonly found objects in classrooms of schools and universities. This new generation, considered "digital native" already incorporates such devices as an extension of the home or of your own body. This reality makes Brazil one of the countries that consumes these new technologies. Thus, the classrooms have become true laboratories as it has increased the number of students who take their mobile devices to the school environment, using them during class. Our studies were mainly based on the authors: Cox (2008), Kenski (2007) and Moraes (2002). In this perspective, our goal through this bibliographical study is to discuss the use of these mobile devices in the classroom and how they can be constituted in which tools, coupled with the process of teaching and learning can help the teaching. The results show facilities and difficulties encountered and which are discussed in the text. We believe that information should be presented as what it really is: a means facilitating the improvement of the activities.
