O brincar na educação infantil: contribuições ao processo educativo.

Abstract

Playing in Childhood Education is something that leads us to believe that children need this foundation in your life. This monograph aims to analyze the importance of play in the teaching learning process, and to investigate whether the use of the games held in the classroom contributing to the development of the student. Through play, children can expand their knowledge about themselves and the world around them. Many educators and many parents still do not understand or may not know the importance of play for physical and mental development of the child. It may be that for both the idea was that the act of playing is a simple hobby, a form of entertainment without the most important functions to entertain the child, without taking into consideration that the game is able to offer numerous possibilities for the child changes and give them support in their cognitive development. The stimulation, variety, interest, concentration and motivation are also provided by the play situation, and there other situations that arouse the stimulation of children. If we add this to the opportunity to be part of an experience that, while possibly challenging, not threatening, is free from constraints and allows the participant to a significant interaction with the environment, the benefits of play become more apparent. However, sometimes playing can provide an escape from the pressures of reality to alleviate boredom and often for relaxation. Therefore, I say that with the playful banter in the classroom is a stimulus to the educational process of the children in their learning
