A relação trabalho e estudo entre estudantes universitários do Centro de Formação de Professores/UFCG.

Abstract

The present work has as main objective to analyze the relationship between work and study college students CFP / UFCG and specific objectives: to check the reasons that lead the student to seek to reconcile work and study; identify the consequences of the relationship between work and study in the teaching learning process and assess the difficulties faced by students in higher education workers. The study focused on theoretical contribution as authors, Araújo (2009), Almeida (2012), Zabalza (2004), Smith (2001). For this feat, a field research based on qualitative research was conducted, with five college students workers, linked to the courses of Mathematics, Pedagogy, Chemistry, Geography and Biological Sciences, studying at the Federal University of Campina Grande (UFCG) , Teacher Training Center (VTC), Campus Cajazeiras - PB. Being three women and two men, all residents in the city of São José de Piranhas-PB, and they work in public service. The instrument for data collection was a structured interview. From the analysis of the information was found, among other things that the subjects have problems reconciling work and study since, for the subjects of the research, the development of both activities imply negative consequences for their income academic. Nevertheless, insist on reconciliation of both activities, because, as is emphasized in their speeches need the work to pay expenses to the study of university education and need to get a better job.
