Resumo:
The electromagnetic compatibility study is an essential stage in the project of any
electronic device or equipment. There are several standards that determine how to
realize the necessary tests to consider an electronic equipment or device
electromagnetically compatible with the place in which it operates. Those tests need to
be realized in a controlled environment that simulates the required conditions to
accomplish the tests. One of those test environments is the electromagnetic
reverberation chamber, whose project, simulation and construction are in full detail
discussed in elapsing of this dissertation. The aim of this work was to develop a
environment in order to be optimized, compact and cost effective, respecting the limits
imposed by the IEC 61000-4-21 standard.
