Résumé:
Due to the market development and the needs for survival to new ventures, it is necessary to
the entrepreneur the ability to identify factors that can help its growth. Therefore, it is
essential some technical assistance and a proper planning in order to minimize possible
failures. In turn, this work aims to develop a Business Plan as a support to achieve effective
results and better adjustment to the market needs of the enterprise in case considering that,
due to the competition, it is a must to establish strategies to put into practice the expansion
plan. The methodology is characterized as a descriptive research, build up through
bibliographic studies and a case study. The main object of this case study is a company
working in the Education sector, focused on childhood education and classified as
microenterprises. The development of the Business Plan, based on Rose (2007) model, has
enabled to structure and identify factors leading to business expansion. Considering that the
study analysis has based on a market research and data from a real company, the nature of
those data was classified as quantitative and qualitative. Then, after build up the market
analysis, the marketing strategy, the identification of operational business processes and the
financial plan, through economic indicators and scenario building was made possible to
evaluate the economic viability of the company and conclude that it is a venture that has the
prospect of consolidation and development.
