The country was an increase of 4.1% in waste generation between 2012 and 2013, but there was the same advance the appropriate disposal remains somewhat stagnant over the last three years. So it's very important that the structural actions to progress in this issue of the proper management of waste is made, both within to broaden the activities of collection and, above all, the proper disposal, environmental management practices are palliative measures and not measures below -structural to solve the ecological social problem. The aim of this study was to evaluate the environmental, social, and health following the implementation of a landfill in the city of Puxananã-PB. In terms of methodology, the research can be characterized as to the purposes, such as exploratory descriptive, and as to the means, evaluated as a case study. To achieve these goals, was used as a support, obtaining primary data with the participation of social and institutional actors who experience the problem of solid waste in the city, together with the secondary data analysis and non-participant observation. The results show that only a total of twenty variables, is satisfactory, indicating that the process of implementation and operation of the landfill Puxinanã-PB, has many deficiencies, resulting in a worrying scenario of unsustainability in the Management Solid waste in the municipality.
