Resumen:
This paper proposes to discuss and analyze the relationship established between affectivity, learning, family and school. Considering that affectivity and learning must be interconnected in the process of individual‟s development in partnership with family and school. Faced with a bibliographical survey and field research, was addressed relevant issues regarding to these relationships and the development of the child, as a historical, cultural, emotional and social being integrated into a society. The field research consisted in the use of four types of instruments of data collection, such as: Socio-demographic questionnaire; Free Word Association Test (TALP); Semi structured interview; and The Educational Pair Test (TPE). The target audience of the research was constituted by: two primary school teachers ; 17 students from primary school, arranged in two multiseriate classes; 16 parents / guardians and the school manager of a multi-grade school in Santa Helena city Paraíba state. The main objective was, to apprehend and to analyze the implications of the affectivity in child formation from its relation with the family and school. Based on the bibliographic research and from data analysis, was conclude that adult / child mediation consists of several elements, some of them are so simple that they may go unnoticed, but that make a big difference. The results point to the growing need for positive interaction and the union between the family and school, in order to maximize the integral development of students / children.
