Résumé:
This work presents some contributions of the Institutional Scholarship Program Introduction to
Teaching (PIBID) Geography subproject in initial teacher training undergraduate Teacher
Training Center (VTC) of the Federal University of Campina Grande (UFCG), and is analyze
the relevance of the program to integrate university / school, through a case study at the State
school professor Crispim Coelho. Where we observe the functioning and school dynamics, and
the development of their actions in schools, and from these verify the importance and its PIBID
contributions in the initiation of market formation the teaching of geography subproject. The
program has shown favor a longer period of experience for the fellows in helping schools with
their training so that they can interact and experience teaching practices; the formation /
construction of teacher identity; the development of teacher reflexivity, critical view /
professional and teacher education researcher contributing to the quality of teaching of basic
education students. We conclude that the PIBID gives opportunity more possibilities in forming
a reflective critical professional, able to develop skills and possible strategies to link the
everyday with the contents valuing the individuality of the realities of the student,
contextualizing them, favoring the construction of knowledge.
