Resumo:
Today’s competitiveness urges the constant modernization of the organizations, which aim to
progress in order to be alive in a market more and more globalizated, demanding and
competitive. The study of the logistical performance in the process of acquisition and
distribution of products represents a competitive advantage to the companies. The present
monograph is a case study, developed in Nutricarnes enterprise, utilizing the methods of
observation and research, mainly through informal interviews with the main businessmen
involved in the logistical system, and the general objective is diagnosing the logistical
management of the referred enterprise. To attain the general objective, the following
procedures were observed: describing the operational procedures of the activities developed in
the company, which characterizes the research as descriptive, and identifying the logistical
activities put into practice by the enterprise, the products’ and information’s flow, and the
integrated planning for the logistical management.
