Résumé:
The present research highlights how problematic to reveal the theoretical-practical
subsidies that the University Extension offers to the participants of the Project of the
Social Pedagogy of the Course of Degree in Pedagogy of the Training Center of
Teachers of the Federal University of Campina Grande (UFCG) campus of Cajazeiras-
PB, in different spaces.The interest in the theme of this research arises from the
experience in the Project of Social Pedagogy: educational practices in contexts, carried
out in the year 2017, on the coordination of the teacher Dr. Maria Gerlaine Belchior
Amaral, thus were carried out pedagogical interventions in the Care Center Child and
Adolescent - CCA, 12 children were cared for. The Project was developed by 13
graduating Extensionists of the UFCG campus Cajazeiras - PB. Understanding the
relevance of extracurricular practices for teacher education research aims as a general
objective: To investigate the Role of University Extension for the theoretical-practical
training of the undergraduate students of the Pedagogy Course of the Center for Teacher
Training of the University Federal de Campina Grande Campus Cajazeiras - PB, in
different spaces. Thus, for the accomplishment of this investigation, the methodological
procedure adopted was based on the bibliographic study, which evidenced the
exploratory and field research, of a qualitative nature, for the data collection was used
the semi-structured interview. The research has the theoretical supports of Freire (1983),
Bardin (1997), Freire (2011), Paula (2013), Pessoa (2017), Severo (2017). Thus, at the
end of the investigation, the authors and the analyzes carried out will conclude the
relevant role of the University Extension for a humanized and preparatory training for
the teaching activity in society. As far as theoretical-practical subsidies are concerned, it
was noticed through the research that undergraduates perform a greater assimilation on
the theories studied in the classroom.
