Resumo:
The study sought to carry out a research with an exploratory and field structure,
focusing on the teaching of the undergraduate course in chemistry, where it was sought
to analyze the main obstacles and challenges experienced during the course and in the
exercise of the teaching profession. The research sought to understand the obstacles and
perspectives of teacher education in the degree course in chemistry and possible
interferences in teacher training. The same had as target audience, the professors of the
licenciatura course in chemistry of the CFP, where the research was divided between
three key public. First, the students who will enter the latest chemistry course, ie the
students who are currently in the second semester. In addition, the students who are
close to completing the course, where he tried to analyze the possible obstacles that
occurred in the beginning course until completion of the chosen course. Finally, the
teachers trained at the Center for Teacher Training (CFP), where they questioned, the
main challenges experienced in the act of teaching. In this way, it obtained as results
that it needs certain changes in its curriculum, like the increase in the number of
supervised stages and supposedly the reduction of disciplines from the exact sciences.
