Resumo:
This paper has as its theme "The use of technology as an aid in the education of
youths and adults", it discusses about the importance and benefits that technology
can provide through the classes of youth and adult education related to the process
of teaching-learning. Concerning to youth and adult education (EJA), is perceptible
that there is a diversification related to the profile of learners, with different contexts
and particularities, in which the great part of the public attending the EJA already
brings their own knowledge due to their age range, composed by people of adult age
who have not been able to study in childhood or have had no previous interest but
perceive or feel that they need to study, their knowledge was acquired through their
life trajectory, thus, the educator needs to define and consequently use the
procedures and teaching techniques necessary so that these students can achieve
best results regarding to educational training, so that there are relearning and
learning of existing knowledge and other that will still be learned. Thus, the
theoretical contribution of this work is based on the thought of authors that gave
support to the research developed, authors such as: Almeida, Demo, Lorenzato,
Moran, Moran, Sancho. This paper aims to verify if the technological tools are used
in the education of youth and adults presenting their potential regarding to the
teaching learning of the students. The type of research developed was descriptive
with a quali-quantitative approach, a questionnaire for the research subjetcs,
educators that works at a public school in Santa Helena city, in the state of Paraíba,
was used as instrument for data collect. It can be highlighted as a positive result in
the research regarding the use of technology in classrooms by educators was well
accepted by the them as a facilitator and motivator of learning.
