Resumen:
Issues related to generation, collection, transportation and final destination of solid residues,
generated within the central supply of agricultural products involve cultural, economic, social,
environmental, political and legal aspects of the community, in which they are encountered.
As a result, environmental protection is no longer an exclusive function of production but has
also become an administrative function of the organization. And it should strive to research
the involvement of the community (employees and users), in order to solve the problem. The
search for a model that responds adequately to the management of solid residues, capable of
including innovations in the environmental, social and economic areas and that could be
implemented in Supplying Enterprises of agricultural and agro-industrial products has been a
major challenge for planners and administrators who serve in this area. So far, the solutions
found and practiced, commit the mistake of treating the issue in a partial way, since the
diversity of business activities undertaken within that organization type, coupled with the
large volume of products sold per day, with a permanent fluctuation of users, makes the
structuring of its administration a major challenge. This research presents a new
administration model for this kind of company, whose methodological conception is based on
the Deming Cycle, also known as PDCA Cycle. The proposed model has as theoretical inputs,
some models of systems administration such as the ISO 14000 standard series, ISO 9001 and
BS 8800, besides taking into consideration the basic security and quality of the systems of the
environmental, social and economic aspects. The results obtained in the process of validating
the model, which proves its applicability, functionality and viability, can therefore be used not
only in the company where it was partially implemented, but also in any other central supply
with similar characteristics.
