The study of entrepreneurial skills is needed to better understand the phenomenon of the entrepreneur, may be an alternative for a better understanding of the skills of entrepreneurs related to their activities within their function or organization. This study aimed to identify the general entrepreneurial skills most relevant to owners of shopkeepers Fashion Center Santa Cruz - PE. For this study used a model of entrepreneurial skills, developed from Man and Lau (2000 apud Paiva 2003) adapted. Regarding the methodology used in accordance with the goals, was a search for exploratory and descriptive character consists of a literature review on the subject in question, based on the technical procedures used can be defined as a field study. The information-gathering instrument used was a structured form, to evaluate the most relevant entrepreneurial competence. At about the results, there is currently, Fashion Center in Santa Cruz - PE in the city of Santa Cruz do Capibaribe, the power of commitment as the most important for the Pole of clothing. Where the main conclusions of this study show that it is not possible to say that all entrepreneurs have uniformity on the characterization of its powers, depending on the complexity of the analysis and variation of the profiles entrepreneurs, the characteristics of enterprises, the various cycles of life business, markets, strategy and market positioning.
