Abstract:
Organizational citizenship behavior is a term used to represent employees' voluntary behaviors, which can result in benefits for the company. Several studies have investigated these behaviors in order to determine the factors that are responsible for their categorization in types, but at the national level little was studied on the subject, highlighting the studies of Siqueira and Porto and Tamayo, the last called Scale of Organizational Civility. Thus, the present study has the objective of identify the perception of the employees of a group of concessionaires regarding their behaviors of Organizational Civism based on the model proposed by Porto and Tamayo (2003). To be realized it was attended by 42 employees from a group of concessionaires located in the city of Maceió - AL, who answered a questionnaire based on the five dimensions proposed by the model, besides acquiring the profile of the participants through sociodemographic questions. The analysis of results performed through the average and standard deviation of the factors, reveal that the less evaluated dimension was the "Selftraining", representing the lesser interest of the employees to recycle professionally. This research still presents several behaviors in low or medium scale in the perception of the employees, regarding the dimensions analyzed, but with variables that need encouragement to be fulfilled, such as: the personal growth incentive; the search for a healthy organizational environment and the propitiation of development; and application of spontaneous acts as an organizational benefit.
