Résumé:
Entrepreneurship has been used as a new management strategy in private companies and more recently also in coping social problems, being named Social Entrepreneurship. Thus, non-governmental organizations, one of the types of institutions that make up the Third Sector, has adopted the Social Entrepreneurship in order to act with greater efficiency and effectiveness in solving social problems. Accordingly, this study sought to examine the actions of social entrepreneurship in the city of Campina Grande - PB, through the study of three non-governmental organizations, describing them, verifying the importance of these actions and the social impact generated. In the methodology, we used a researched exploratory-descriptive, its design is characterized as multiple case study and the data processing is performed in a qualitative manner, using as a technique for data collection interviews with managers of NGOs studied. The results showed that social organizations studied use practices of social entrepreneurship in addressing the social problems of the community, providing noticeable social impact and the improvement of the quality of life of the beneficiaries. It was also noted that these organizations have as one of the major challenges society involvement in social causes.
