Resumen:
This study consists of a survey based on data from the daily stocks that make up the portfolio
of IBRX50 BM&F Bovespa returns. The overall objective of the research is to demonstrate
the application of didactic contribution via Quadratic Programming solver Microsoft EXCEL
training stock portfolios considered conservative according to the theory of Markowitz.
Regarding methodology, we conducted a descriptive-explanatory research in relation to the
purposes and literature as to the means, characterized by sample space stocks in the portfolio
of IBRX50 BM&F Bovespa. As for the data processing performed in the study approach, it is
a quantitative approach. The findings of the research in question showed the applicability of
using didactic and quadratic programming solver in the portfolio diversification process,
since, by the study, is noticeable that there is a reduction of risk for the investor as he starts to
work with the logic of portfolios with less correlated actions in order to compose an efficient,
diversified and safer in capital investiment portfolio.
