Resumo:
This research deals with Social Entrepreneurship as a promising outlet for social intervention, starting from the analysis of the presentation of a non-profit organization as a social enterprise. The purpose of this work was to measure the degree of social entrepreneurship by means of a qualitative descriptive case study, which had the AIESEC Campina Grande – PB as its study object. The markers used in the analysis were developed from the analysis of the categories proposed by Godói-de-Sousa et al. (2011): (1) opportunities; (2) innovation; (3) self-management; (4) economic value; (5) social value, and (6) sustainable development. The results gained present the AIESEC Campina Grande – PB as a social enterprise, with objectivity in developing potential young leaderships as potentiators of social development. As a social enterprise, the organization presents relevant markers on the analysis categories aimed at opportunities, innovation, social value and sustainable development; with the self-management and economic value markers being challenges to be bypassed.
