Resumen:
Knowing that the phenomenon of the Individual Microentrepreneur is growing in Brazil, this research aimed to analyze the entrepreneurial behavioral characteristics (CCE's) of Individual Microentrepreneurs (MEI's). For this, the following specific objectives were established: To analyze the profile of the Individual Microentrepreneurs investigated and analyze the CCE´s of the MEI´s investigated based on the adaptation of the McClelland model (1987) by SEBRAE (2018). For that, a survey was carried out with a quantitative and descriptive methodological approach, obtaining a sample of 71 MEI's respondents from the McClelland CCE questionnaire (1987). Data were analyzed from descriptive statistics using central - mean and dispersion - coefficient of variation. The results show the entrepreneurial behavioral characteristics are present are those of starting businesses in new areas, besides seeking knowledge to improve their capacity as manager; are mostly risk averse; seek to deliver the products at the right time and with the quality expected by the customer; assume responsibility for the success and failure of the business, always seeking to deliver a quality service or product to the customer; seek to know their partners; make financial records and use them for decision-making; believes it is important to relate to new people and maintain lasting business relationships, as well as expressing confidence in their actions, not being overwhelmed by disappointing results that may come. And weaknesses have also been identified that should be improved.
