Managerial competences are key factors to the performance of organizations. Thus, it appears that the search for certain skills is essential to promoting organizational growth . This study sought to identify the competencies of nurses Program / Family Health Strategy - P / ESF - city Pocinhos - PB, with emphasis on managerial skills of this professional, but also verify that these perceptions have on these competencies based the three dimensions of competence for this management tool for CHA skills (knowledge, skill and attitude) was used. This work was carried out through a case study, with a quantitative approach. For data collection, a closed questionnaire adapted from Neves (2005), based on the three dimensions of competence was employed. The results indicated that nurses have a high perception of their skills, but many of these can not be implemented due to lack of resources and autonomy, since the decision power is centralized to the members of the municipal secretary of health.
