Resumo:
This monograph was built based on a research guided by he following goals: to analyze the importance and contributions of supervised internship for teacher training; highlight the importance of the relationship between theory and practice for teacher education; present the training process based on a proposal for initial and continuing formation; to investigate the problems and difficulties during the internship process; to reflect on the experiences and lessons learned during the intership execution. This study has sought theoretical support by the following authors: Pepper and Lima (2012), Barreiro and Gebran (2006), Almeida (2002), Lima (2001), Pepper (1994), Piconez (1991), among others. This is an exploratory research. The approach was qualitative. The research subjects were two graduation students of the Pedagogy course and two teacher graduated in Education. The instrument used for data collection it was a semi-structured interview. The study concluded that the internship is an important element for the teacher training process as it supports the future educational professional knowing a new reality, thus expanding their worldview and providing a critical analysis of action and pedagogical work developed by teachers in school units.
