The present work has the purpose of deepening knowledge about Social Pedagogy, which constitutes the object of study. The general objective is to analyze the specificities inherent to the educational practices developed by the pedagogue that integrates the multidisciplinary team of the Fórum Ferreira Júnior, located in the municipality of Cajazeiras PB. The specific objectives are: to characterize Social Pedagogy; Identify the contributions of the social educator and reflect how the process of continuing education of this professional takes place. As for the methodological course, this was developed in two stages. In the first, a bibliographic survey was carried out. Also as part of the bibliographical survey was an online search of texts and documents on the Internet. The second stage was the field research, which was held at the Cajazeiras PB Forum. Data were collected through a semi-structured interview. Data analysis was based on a qualitative approach. Results: The work of the pedagogue at the Fórum Ferreira Junior is a work that involves competence, sensitivity and ethics, which requires training and a critical look at reality, because it involves people living on the margins of society. Such a situation demands of the professional a humanized look and a posture devoid of any kind of prejudice. The social pedagogue linked to the forum develops a work that has unique social relevance. His work requires a qualified listening done very seriously and sensitively this because the reports produced in the visits he performs, in part, aid in the judges' procedural decisions.
